Grupo Amper will carry out the supply and commissioning of Control, Protectión and Synchronisation Cabinets for the 4 newMTU or similar Emergency Groups with a generation capacity of 4.000 KVA at 6kV and for the 7.500 KVA at 15 kV 3 BAZAN-MAN already existing groups for the Palma de Mallorca Airport Power Plant. The main project will be executed by the Consortium formed by Etralux-Insae-Grupo Render.

The control system of the Plant is upgraded to control new groups and will also include the replacement of the existing common control and protection panels of the transformer and of the generation output cells.

The new groups will be able to work in parallel with the 3 existing ones sharing among them active and reactive power demanded by Aiport consummers.

General Control Panel will implement at the Common Control redundant PLC the adequate management of consumers load shedding function, based in a switch gear shedding consumption priority policy matrix and taking into consideration the available emergency groups.

The works will be completed with the integration of PLCs in the already existing in Aena WONDERWARE ARCHESTRA SCADA system.
